Polymetal says gold output falls 2% to 1 mln oz in January–Sept

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (PRIME) -- Gold production of Russian precious metals producer Polymetal International fell by 2% on the year to 1.014 million ounces in January–September, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Silver output decreased by 1% to 13.8 million ounces in the period.

Revenue fell by 16% on the year to U.S. $1.762 billion.

The net debt grew to $2.781 billion as of September 30 from $1.647 billion in the same period in 2021.

Polymetal has also confirmed its 2022 output guidance at 1.7 million ounces in gold equivalent, but said there are risks of its non-fulfillment. The plan for 2023 and 2024 was also set at 1.7 million ounces per year.
